Angela Rofael, Esq. (she/her)

Interim President

Angela Rofael (she/her) is a criminal defense attorney in Atlanta, Georgia. She received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Oregon in 2020. After graduating from Georgia State University College of Law in 2025 with a J.D. and Certificate of Public Interest Law and Policy, Angela began working at the Hall County Public Defender’s office where she gained experience in juvenile court before transitioning into private practice across the state. Since the beginning of law school, her goal has remained the same: change the rules instead of working within them because the rules are unjust. Hence, she plans to eventually transition her career from law to politics to realize that goal. Until then, Angela spends her free time volunteering, community organizing, and speaking to anyone who will listen about tearing down the prison-industrial complex and the injustice of capitalism… when she’s not outside enjoying Georgia sunshine or hanging out with her cat, Judas.
