Each year, we celebrate youth leaders and changemakers in our community through our Georgia Youth Justice Awards, presented to advocates at our annual showcase and fundraiser.
We are seeking nominations for our 2026 Fearless Youth Advocate Award.
Bella Bautista, Founder & Executive Director of This Doesn’t Define Me (pictured here) was the 2025 recipient, in recognition of her groundbreaking leadership, unwavering courage, and commitment to building a more just and equitable world.

About the Fearless Youth Advocate Award
Awarded to a young person under 25 years old for their outspoken advocacy for the human rights of young people in Georgia. The recipient is a tenacious advocate who collaborates across their community to fight for young people's rights and self-determination. Special attention is paid to nominees' work supporting marginalized youth including, but not limited to, foster care/child-welfare involved youth, those involved with the criminal legal system, LGBTQIA2S+ and BIPOC youth, immigrant youth, youth experiencing homelessness, youth with disabilities, and young people living with HIV.
To be eligible, nominees must be able to attend the SLCY fundraiser and awards ceremony on September 10, in-person at the College Park Womans Club. Self-nominations and nominations of others are accepted.

Located in Georgia
Nominees must be located in Georgia and their advocacy must support Georgia's youth.
