Miracle Rankin is an accomplished trial attorney, legal leader, and former candidate for the Supreme Court of Georgia whose career has been defined by a commitment to ensuring that the law protects the people, not just the powerful.

As a trial attorney representing victims of catastrophic truck wrecks, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and corporate negligence, Miracle has built her career taking on some of the most powerful interests and winning. Her ability to navigate complex medical and legal issues, connect with juries, and develop innovative legal strategies has resulted in favorable verdicts and multimillion-dollar resolutions for her clients. Yet she measures success by more than the numbers. For Miracle, the most meaningful victories are those that restore dignity, provide security, and give a voice to her clients.

A graduate of Spelman College and the University of Georgia School of Law, Miracle has distinguished herself as both an advocate and a leader in Georgia’s legal community. She served as the 40th President of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys and has received national and statewide recognition for her service and professional accomplishments, including the National Bar Association’s Award of Achievement for Outstanding Service, Congressional recognition for her service to the community, and recognition as a Georgia Super Lawyer.

In 2026, Miracle took her commitment to equal justice statewide, challenging an incumbent Justice for a seat on the Supreme Court of Georgia. As a first-time statewide candidate, she mounted a historic campaign and came within two percentage points of winning a seat on Georgia’s highest court, earning nearly half of the statewide vote and the support of millions of Georgians. Her campaign centered on a fundamental principle that has guided her throughout her career: justice should never depend on wealth, status, power, or influence.

Miracle is also a wife and mother of two young children, roles that deepen her commitment to the communities and families she serves. Today, she continues to advocate for individuals and families facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives while remaining engaged in the broader fight for fairness, accountability, and equal justice under the law.
