In 2025, we expanded our services, launching the Southern Kiki Leaders Collective (SKLC) and creating the nation's first Gender-Affirming Legal Care for Youth Program to house our unique trainings and Gender-Affirming Name Change Clinics. Even with no full-time staff, we served 77 young people across our legal programs and recruited 51 SKLC members.
We raised over $170,000 in grants, contracts, and unrestricted funds to support our mission, making new partnerships with amazing new organizations such as:
The Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta
American College of Trial Lawyers
CVS Health
The Elizabeth Taylor Aids Foundation
National Homelessness Law Center

In 2024, we became the first civil legal aid organization in Georgia to focus on youth and young adults aged 12-24 at risk of or experiencing homelessness on their own. We were proud to join the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Homeless Youth Legal Network, which provides a directory of legal aid providers around the United States that serve young people.
Our position as the only legal organization of our kind in GA reflects how critical our services are, and how much need there is. Since starting to serve clients in late August 2024, we have connected with 53 young people through listening sessions, brief legal advice, and direct legal representation. 100% of our clients are Black, Indigenous and People of Color.
