Princess Jauan T. Durbin (he/she/they) is a global health equity scholar and Gen Z public health leader with deep expertise in HIV prevention and youth-centered health and wellness. His work advances systems change, sexual health advocacy, and person-centered care for Black and LGBTQ+ communities across the U.S. and the global South.
A proud Morehouse College graduate and the first openly Queer Mr. HBCU, Princess leads with authenticity, strategy, and cultural fluency. At 26, Princess has managed multi-million dollar federally funded grants, created and scaled programs across multiple sectors, and has spoken at the White House, International AIDS conferences, and national policy forums. He is a Youth Ambassador and Partner for ViiV Healthcare and Global Black Pride and sits on the National Advisory Board of the U.S. Business Action to End HIV. He is also a Master of Science in Health Equity candidate at Meharry Medical College’s School of Global Health, where his research centers on youth-led HIV prevention, health system accountability, and access to culturally relevant care. Princess is building a world where equity is not aspirational—it’s operational.
